Manchester United’s head coach, Ruben Amorim, has implemented three alterations to his lineup for tonight’s vital first leg of the Europa League round of 16 against Real Sociedad.
Harry Maguire and Manuel Ugarte are sidelined due to minor injuries and did not make the trip, while Christian Eriksen has been relegated to the bench following an unsatisfactory performance against Fulham on Sunday.
They are substituted by Leny Yoro, Patrick Dorgu, and Alejandro Garnacho.
Although Dorgu is currently serving a three-match domestic suspension, he is eligible to participate in European competitions.
Toby Collyer returns to the squad after missing four weeks through injury.
The Starting XI
Andre Onana is in goal.
The back three are Noussair Mazraoui, Matthijs de Ligt and Yoro.
Diogo Dalot and Dorgu are the wing backs.
Ugarte is replaced by Casemiro in midfield, who will partner Bruno Fernandes.
Up front, Rasmus Hojlund is the centre forward, Josh Zirkzee the inside right and Garnacho on the left.
The Substitutes
Amorim’s substitutes’ bench is once again not complete and has only seven players.
The two reserve goalkeepers are Dermot Mee and Elyh Harrison.
The remaining subs are Victor Lindelof, Harry Amass, Ayden Heaven, Eriksen and Toby Collyer.
Chido Obi was not registered to play in Europe, while Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, Mason Mount and Kobbie Mainoo are all also out injured.
Kick-off in San Sebastian is at 5.45pm.
